PGS polymers combine three methods at once
filtration: mechanical, sorption and ion exchange. Neither of
existing materials does not provide purification over such a wide range chemical compounds, such as PGS-polymer "Aragon". Removed ions interact directly with the reactive surface of the polymer, bypassing the traditional for ion-exchange resins the stage of diffusion deep into the granule. As a result, the volumetric velocity filtration of ASG polymers is 10-20 times higher than that of conventional granular ion exchange resins
